Job summary
Conquest Solutions is seeking a Building Automation System (BAS) Project Engineer II to engineer, design, and implement BAS strategies across mechanical and electrical systems for multiple clients in the Washington, DC Metro Area. The role is customer-facing and may include BAS design, renovation, auditing, retro-commissioning, checkout, and programming.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC/BAS or control systems, with strong knowledge of BAS concepts, IP networking, and control theory.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in HVAC, BAS, or control systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct project site visits and document existing BAS conditions.
- Lead design and development for BAS construction, operations and maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for SOWs.
- Gather information from stakeholders to resolve issues and changes.
- Lead integration activities and support DDC/PLC hardware/software.
- Develop graphics packages and maintain graphics library.
- Document alignment on objectives, priorities and schedules.
- Train associates and end users on BAS operation and procedures.
- Identify problems, propose solutions, and work with client to resolve.
- Improve processes and project operations to enhance outcomes.
- Facilitate project closeout with the client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
