Job summary

Htprof is seeking an Automation/Controls Technician/Installer in Rocky Hill, CT to support BAS installations on-site. The role involves mounting control components, installing low voltage wiring, and performing terminations, with system start-ups and troubleshooting as needed.

The ideal candidate will have CT E2 or L6 licensing, hands-on BAS experience, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality installations and customer service in accordance with project specs.

Qualifications

• Must hold CT E2 or L6 license and be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience with building automation or electrical systems is required.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Mount and install BAS control components, sensors, thermostats, and controllers.
• Install conduit and low voltage wiring; perform terminations per specs.
• Conduct system start-ups, testing, and calibration of BAS components.
• Troubleshoot and repair BAS components, wiring, and controls.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and technicians; provide client updates.
• Follow local electrical codes and safety protocols during installations, testing, and troubleshooting.
