Job summary

SJ Mobilita is seeking an experienced Building Controls Service Technician to support commercial facilities throughout Connecticut. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing BAS/DDC and HVAC control systems, with emphasis on reliable operation and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with Building Automation or HVAC Controls systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service assignments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair BAS/DDC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Calibrate controllers, sensors, actuators, and other field devices.
• Troubleshoot BAS communication networks and control system issues.
• Commission system upgrades, modifications, and expansions.
• Support system startups and verify proper operation.
• Provide customers with guidance and training on system operation.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service calls when required.
• Work independently at customer sites while maintaining professional customer relationships.
