LONG Building Technologies in Anchorage, AK seeks a Controls Technician II to troubleshoot and program temperature control systems per project specs. You will mentor apprentices and provide expert guidance on installations, commissioning, and energy management in a commercial HVAC setting.

The role covers start-up, warranty, and field service with opportunities for growth and a strong benefits package and profit sharing. Domestic travel to job sites is expected.

Formación

• 2 years of computer/electronic technical degree with 1 year TC startup/service or 3-5 years TC startup/service.
• Proficient programming and troubleshooting with KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell.
• Strong analytical skills in solving software and integration challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Program databases for supported systems per operation sequences and manufacturer recommendations.
• Calibrate and checkout control systems to meet commissioning requirements.
• Create project graphics and deliver GUI labor for LONG standards.
• Instruct customer personnel on operation and maintenance of TS systems.
• Update drawings and maintain as-built equipment records.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support service contracts during startup and training.
• Mentor controls apprentices on jobsites.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across project sequences.
