Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time Controls Technician II in Atlanta, GA to install, program, and service commercial building digital control systems. You’ll work onsite and collaborate with HVAC technicians, engineers, and customers to ensure systems meet design specs and performance targets.

You will gain experience across Daikin and third-party controls, with opportunities for training and certification, while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training and 3+ years of related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• OSHA 10 certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BAS/HVAC knowledge and field-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional customer service to build long-term relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Maintain BAS by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Create and implement programming/graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
• Commission controls installations and verify control sequences meet scope or specs.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tips, and other items timely.
