Job summary

Daikin Applied is hiring a full-time Controls Technician II for our Atlanta, GA onsite team. You will install, program, and service commercial building digital control systems, including Daikin and third-party BAS, ensuring accurate performance and safety.

You will gain exposure to diverse control systems, receive ongoing training, and participate in safety and OSHA guidelines. Daikin supports career growth and offers comprehensive benefits in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Technical training and 3+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Rotational Emergency Call Support as required.
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.

Responsibilities

Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming.
Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications.
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner.
Interact and train customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets.
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld.
Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures.
