Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time Controls Technician I - Installation to install commercial building digital control systems. You will handle wiring, sensors, and BAS components on-site across AL locations, ensuring proper installation and safety.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a driver’s license. Daikin provides training, benefits, and a path to growth in an innovative HVAC environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or equivalent educational/experience background.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to provide rotational emergency call support.
• Licenses or training cards required by local law district; work visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive customer service to build long-term relationships.
• Install wiring and sensors for direct digital control systems.
• Verify conduit, wiring and sensors are installed correctly.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting sensor or wiring function.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and related reports promptly.
• Share status updates with customers and participate in training.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety policies and procedures.
