Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time Controls Technician I in Tampa, FL, onsite. You will install, program, and service commercial building digital control systems, including Daikin and third-party BAS platforms.

Growth toward more complex tasks is expected with exposure and performance. Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, commissioning, and providing technical support to HVAC teams, with training opportunities through regional trainers and Daikin Learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training with 0–2 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive customer service and build relationships.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Perform maintenance, commissioning, and modifications as requested.
• Maintain BAS by inspecting logs, schedules, hardware and programming.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Commission installations and verify control sequences meet specs.
