Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and municipal facilities along the Gulf Coast. This field-based role covers installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of BAS and DDC controls.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with BAS platforms, low-voltage systems, and strong customer-service skills; willingness to travel regionally is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls or BAS
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and control sequences
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proven troubleshooting of controls and BAS systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Install, startup, commission, and service HVAC controls and BAS
• Perform controller startup, testing, and sequencing
• Troubleshoot DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networks
• Read control drawings and project specifications
• Document commissioning and service activities
