Job summary

Certified Control Systems seeks a skilled BAS Controls Technician to commission and maintain customer systems that use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic technology. You will update As-Built drawings, calibrate systems, and ensure positive customer relationships on-site.

The technician will perform testing, programming, commissioning, and servicing while coordinating with management and customers to meet project requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of electrical experience (120vac, 24vac, 24vdc and 12vdc) with low voltage control systems.
• 5 years of mechanical systems experience including chillers, air handlers, VAV, boilers; familiarity with Automated Logic, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls or Alerton is a plus.
• Ability to startup, commission, and service building automation systems; read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Implement startup, commissioning, and re-commission of customer systems using pneumatic/electrical/electronic technology.
• Maintain As-Built drawings and update Visio, Excel, Word as required.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment (multimeters, network terminals).
• Perform end-to-end testing, programming, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers to understand onsite requirements.
