Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Service Controls Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the Houston service team, guiding sales and field operations and overseeing the execution of service work and maintenance agreements in the Houston area.

Responsibilities include directing service execution, prioritizing daily scheduling, assisting with technically-focused bids and site walks, onboarding and developing technicians, and coordinating with the BAS manager to ensure customer

Qualifications

Experience leading service teams in building automation or controls.
Ability to schedule and manage service work and maintenance agreements.
Experience supporting technically-focused bids and site walks.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution efforts of assigned service work, including warranty-related issues.
Manage and prioritize day-to-day scheduling of service work for the team.
Assist owner-direct sales with technical aspects of bids and proposals and attend site walks as needed.
Perform and manage active and preventive maintenance agreements.
Onboard and develop service controls technicians.
Coordinate with sales and management to maintain customer relationships and satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Houston BAS manager to coordinate small service projects.
Keep customers informed of job progress and issues during commissioning.
Provide system training for owners and operators on the building control system.
Pursue ongoing training to maintain knowledge of Tridium and Siemens/Distech control systems.
