Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Manager to lead and oversee BAS projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires strong leadership, clear client communication, and a solid understanding of HVAC and building automation systems. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, schedules, and scope changes while coordinating with design-build or plan-and-spec teams to meet margin objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience as BAS Project Manager or similar role in mechanical or controls contracting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, or building automation construction processes.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active projects.
• Experience with Design-Build and Plan & Spec environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Building Automation Controls projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment.
• Maintain control over project costs to meet financial and margin objectives.
• Prepare, review, and process change orders and scope adjustments.
