Job summary

Divcon Controls is seeking a Lead Service Technician in Houston to provide on‑site service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for Delta Controls BAS. This hands‑on role requires working with field technicians, ensuring reliable, energy-efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

You will lead troubleshooting efforts, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and participate in knowledge sharing to improve service delivery and system performance across data centers and commercial

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Delta Controls experience or with similar BAS platforms (Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls)
• Advanced understanding of HVAC equipment, control devices, and BAS field wiring
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interact professionally with customers

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Delta Controls BAS components.
• Support commissioning, system startups, verification, and functional testing under guidance.
• Respond to service calls and alarms in a timely, professional manner.
• Update firmware, configuration, and minor programming changes as directed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and health checks of systems.
• Identify failing components and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Project Teams and engineers for escalations.
• Coordinate access, scheduling, and service completion with customers.
• Document service activities and resolutions in the service management system.
