Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a BMS Controls Technician II to troubleshoot, service, and optimize BAS/BMS and HVAC controls across commercial and industrial facilities. You will install, configure, and commission controllers and devices, diagnose system issues, and work directly with customers to improve operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on BAS/BMS experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical training or equivalent experience.
2+ years hands-on BAS/BMS or HVAC controls experience.
Experience commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
Experience with low-voltage controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, and related field devices.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BAS/BMS and HVAC controls.
Install, commission, configure, and optimize controllers and field devices.
Diagnose and resolve system issues in HVAC equipment, networks, sensors, actuators, valves, and low-voltage controls.
Conduct preventive, corrective, and emergency service activities for reliability and performance.
Interpret drawings to support field service activities.
Interface with customers, provide technical recommendations to improve efficiency.
Document service activities and changes per company standards.
Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every site.
