Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a BMS Service Representative II to support commercial buildings, primarily in Manhattan with occasional travel to Northern New Jersey. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on BMS/BAS experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work directly with customers to optimize HVAC control systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BMS/BAS experience in building automation or controls.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain BAS/BMS and HVAC controls in buildings.
• Install, commission, configure, and optimize controllers and field devices.
• Diagnose issues with DDC, sensors, actuators, and control networks.
• Perform software updates and system modifications for reliability.
• Support commissioning and startup of new building automation systems.
• Document service activities and changes; communicate with customers.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to sites as needed.
