Job summary

Mottai Miami, a modern Japanese restaurant in Coral Gables, Florida, is seeking experienced bartenders to join the front-of-house team. You will deliver a seamless, memorable guest experience and work closely with management to uphold our refined standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of upscale/bar experience, strong English, POS proficiency, and a passion for hospitality. Wine/spirits knowledge is required; familiarity with Japanese cuisine and sake is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartender experience in upscale or fine dining.
• Ability to balance high-volume service with refined and attentive guest interaction.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic restaurant technology.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits; familiarity with Japanese cuisine and sake preferred.
• Hospitality training or certifications are a plus.

We are seeking experienced and professional Bartenders to join the front-of-house team of our upscale restaurant. This role requires poise, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You’ll be responsible for delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience, working closely with the management and service team to ensure every detail reflects the quality and standards of our brand.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in an upscale or fine dining environment
• Ability to balance high-volume service with refined and attentive guest interaction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in English
• Calm, solutions-oriented, and gracious under pressure
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic restaurant service technology
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is required; familiarity with Japanese cuisine and sake is preferred
• Formal hospitality training or certifications are a plus
• Working knowledge of Spanish or another language is a plus
