Job summary

DoubleTree Las Vegas East Flamingo is seeking a Bartender/Server to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. The role pays $15.40 per hour and includes company benefits and growth opportunities.

You will take orders, serve beverages and meals, balance cash at shift end, and ensure guest satisfaction with friendly, efficient service. Flex shifts and adherence to brand standards are required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending/server experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and upselling skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Brand- and area-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from patrons.
• Serve food and beverage items to customers seated in the restaurant and bar.
• Clean work area and assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Inspect equipment and report any issues to supervisor.
• Collect payments and balance cash receipts.
• Prepare to-go orders when required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Take food and beverage orders from patrons
• Serve food & beverage items to customers seated in the restaurant and bar.
• Responsible for cleaning area, helping with dishes as necessary
• Check working condition of equipment and report to supervisor all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment
• Collect payments for drinks/meals served
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons
• Prepare To Go orders as required
• Serve full meals to guests
• Balance cash receipts
• Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
• Requires excellent communication & upselling skills
• Must have all mandatory certificates based upon brand and area requirements
• Must be able to work flexible shifts
