Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Set up bars; stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, glassware, ice, and produce.
3. Maintain stock; prepare and store garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
4. Greet guests courteously.
5. Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks; practice portion control.
6. Verify guest IDs.
7. Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly; know liquor laws.
8. Handle cash transactions accurately.
9. Secure beverage products, food, equipment, and cash.
10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
11. Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
12. Wash and sterilize stemware.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
