Job summary

Big Al’s Inc in Meridian, Idaho is hiring bartenders and servers to deliver first‑class guest experiences, from crafting drinks to taking food orders in a fast‑paced, team environment.

Requirements include serving or bar experience, ability to work weekends and nights, and eligibility to obtain Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving Certifications. 21+ (19+ in Idaho) preferred with opportunities for growth and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with serving or bar operations and guest service.
• POS system experience; Toast is a plus.
• Must be 21+ (19+ in Idaho) and able to obtain required certifications.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• People person with confident, friendly, face-to-face skills.
• Team player capable of upselling and handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Share promos and help make every guest’s time unforgettable.
• Run drinks, serve, and keep the energy high.
• Take orders, deliver food, and manage payments.
• Keep bar, lanes, tables, and glassware clean and stocked.
• Stock and mix drinks; assist in keg room duties.
• Follow safety and alcohol serving rules.
• Assist with opening, closing, and team needs.

What You Will Do

• Share the love for Big Al’s promos and help make every guest’s time here unforgettable.
• Run drinks, serve up good vibes, and keep the fun rolling.
• Take orders, deliver food with a smile, and handle payments like a pro.
• Keep things clean and sparkling—lanes, tables, glassware—you name it!
• Stock, organize, and mix drinks to perfection at the bar.
• Help with keg room duties and lift kegs with your teammates when needed.
• Stick to safety and alcohol rules to keep the party going strong.
• Lend a hand with opening, closing, and anything else that makes our team shine!

What We Are Looking For

• Someone with serving or bar experience who knows how to keep things smooth and guests happy.
• Experience with a POS System. Toast is a plus!
• Someone who is a people person — friendly, confident, and great face-to-face
• First‑class level of guest service skills
• Team player vibes only – we're all in this together
• Someone who can handle sales transactions like a pro and know how to upsell fun
• Safety matters to you (and us!)
• Ability to obtain Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving Certifications
• Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays
• Must be 21 years or older (must be 19 years or older in Idaho)
