Description

Fox Bros BBQ is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for mixology, and a strong knowledge of beverages.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
2. Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, adhering to Fox Bros BBQ's recipes and standards.
3. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper stocking of bar supplies, glassware, and garnishes.
4. Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations, ensuring responsible beverage service and preventing overconsumption.
5. Engage with guests to promote menu items and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
6. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
7. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
8. Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
9. Stay informed about Fox Bros BBQ's menu offerings, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
10. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
11. Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning of the bar area.
12. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
13. Miscellaneous tasks as required.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
2. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer, and serving wine.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
4. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating inventory.
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
7. Must be of legal drinking age and hold any required alcohol service certifications.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
