JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Barista at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and create an atmosphere where our guests can enjoy inspiring food and beverages. Responsibilities include preparing specialty coffees, engaging with guests, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintain proper setup of the cafe daily, including requisitioning and stocking supplies based on occupancy forecasts to ensure product quality.
2. Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, and prepare drinks using standard recipes with a sophisticated style.
3. Comply with all food safety requirements at state, federal, and corporate levels.
4. Process orders at the point of sale, create checks, and ensure accountability for all beverages served.
5. Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, and balance cash drawers.
6. Secure all equipment and deposits, and manage bank transactions.
7. Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work as scheduled.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
