Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel is seeking enthusiastic Bartenders to join the Owners Box team and deliver exceptional, friendly service in a vibrant bar setting.

You will mix drinks, maintain a clean bar, and upsell food and beverage while ensuring compliance with liquor laws and safety standards. The role requires mobility, cash handling experience, and flexible scheduling in downtown Dallas.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Communicate effectively by telephone and in person.
• Basic MICROS knowledge.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Must attain Texas TABC & Food Handler certification upon hire if not already certified.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging guests.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
• Maintain a clean, professional bar environment and observe liquor liability laws.
• Upsell and suggestive sell of food and beverage to guests.
• Requisition and restock bar with essential products and equipment.
• Monitor guest alcohol intake and ensure only those of legal drinking age are served.
• Communicate with guests and respond to feedback to resolve service issues.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and driven Bartenders to join the Owners Box team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and friendly customer service while maintaining a clean, professional, and high-quality bar environment. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
• Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
• Upsell and suggestive sell of both food and beverage to guests.
• Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment.
• Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is served only to those patrons of legal drinking age.
• Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated.
• Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues.
