Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel is seeking enthusiastic Bartenders to join the Cafe Herrera team. Deliver courteous service in a clean, high-quality bar environment and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include crafting drinks, maintaining bar knowledge, and upselling food and beverages while adhering to liquor laws. A flexible schedule and corporate benefits are provided by Omni Dallas Hotel.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Communicate effectively by telephone and in person.
• Basic MICROS knowledge.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Must attain Texas TABC & Food Handler certification on hire if not already certified.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and driven Bartenders to join the Cafe Herrera team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and friendly customer service while maintaining a clean, professional, and high-quality bar environment. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
• Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
• Upsell and suggestive sell of both food and beverage to guests.
• Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment.
• Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is served only to those patrons of legal drinking age.
• Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated.
• Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues.

• Must have basic computer/MICROS knowledge
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Must be able to attain a valid Texas TABC & Food Handler certification upon hire if not already certified.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging the guests in conversation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.
