Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. seeks a Bartender (Part-Time) for Rendition at Hotel Interurban. You’ll craft cocktails, provide outstanding guest service, and contribute to a lively, Pacific Northwest-inspired dining atmosphere.

Weekend availability and a strong knowledge of bar operations are essential. You’ll use a POS system, manage cash handling, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while delivering a consistently high standard of beverage quality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
• Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
• Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required.
• Must be available weekends!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to guests with high attention to presentation and quality.
• Deliver distinctive guest experiences while maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar area.
• Operate bar equipment and POS system efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and cash handling procedures.

Towering above Seattle’s southside, Rendition, located within Hotel Interurban, is known for happy hour specials, handcrafted cocktails, and a menu featuring our take on classic American cuisine with flavors inspired by the Pacific Northwest. We are currently hiring a Bartender to create connections while crafting cocktails. You are responsible for preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere.
