Job summary

Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant seeks a Part-Time Bartender to join our caring, mission-driven life plan community. You will greet residents and guests, mix beverages with precision, and maintain a clean, inviting bar area while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years bartending experience or formal training.
• Must comply with state and local laws regarding sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
• TIPS certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with proper garnishes.
• Arrange bar supplies and glassware to create appealing displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area at all times.
• Record all sales, handle payments, and operate the cash register per procedures.
• Prepare and/or sell food items as needed.
• Conduct inventory checks and submit orders to ensure supply.
• Collaborate with team across departments to support service.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere and participate in workshops as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Join Our Team at Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant!We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Bartender to join our caring and mission-driven life plan community.This position is scheduled for 32-40 hours per pay period, with shifts typically running 3:00pm to 8:00pm, and occasional 10:00am to 4:00pm shifts on Sundays. The schedule includes varying weekdays and every other weekend.As a Bartender, you will provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting residents and guests, preparing and serving beverages with accuracy and professionalism, and maintaining a clean, organized bar and service area.
