The Village at Rockville, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, seeks a professional Bartender to join our dining team. This full-time role offers flexible shifts, weekends, and events, with a $21.00–$25.00 per hour range.

You will craft beverages, deliver warm hospitality, and support residents and guests in a premier senior living community. We value teamwork, reliability, and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred (not required).
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, wine, beer and cocktail service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Responsible alcohol service certification preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional service to residents, families, and guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and stock levels.
• Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Process transactions and handle cash accurately.

The Village at Rockville, a premier senior living community and part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dining team.

This position is a Full-Time opportunity with availability to work any shift, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events as needed. In this role, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and guests while preparing and serving beverages with excellence, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

Compensation & Schedule

Full-Time | Any Shift

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Final compensation is based on the candidate's demonstrated skills, relevant experience, certifications, and overall qualifications.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
