Overview

Position Overview – Part-Time Bartender

As a part-time bartender at Cambria Downtown Austin, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service in a stylish and fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and creating a welcoming, memorable bar experience. You’ll work closely with the restaurant and banquet teams to support events and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.

• Provide excellent guest service with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

• Follow all TABC and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.

• Operate the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

• Assist with restocking, inventory, and bar prep.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.

• Support special events and banquets as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience preferred; hotel or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.

• Must have a current TABC certification.

• Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $10.25/Hr. - $10.25/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
