Job Description

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Candidates should be personable, professional, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Attendance must be excellent, and availability for scheduled events is required.

This role offers an hourly rate of $10 plus tips. For part-time roles, benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline.

Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to liquor regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
  2. Follow bar notes and menus to provide service as instructed.
  3. Take and process drink orders, prepare drinks with standard recipes, and practice prudent portion control.
  4. Set up bars, stock all necessary supplies, and maintain fresh garnishes and perishables.
  5. Greet guests courteously and handle guest inebriation appropriately.
  6. Lock up and store all beverages and equipment, perform closing duties, and keep the work area clean.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least six months of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to operate POS systems and handle revenue accurately.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and ability to learn about various beverages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary food handling and TABC certificates.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Bartending school certification preferred.
