Job Title: Part-Time Barista

We are hiring immediately for a part-time Barista position at Capital One Cafe, located at 106 East 6th Street, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78701. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items following HACCP standards. Interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare espresso and other drinks using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Follow recipes and standards for food preparation.
• Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in selling techniques and product presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
