As a part-time bartender at Cambria Downtown Austin, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service in a stylish and fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and creating a welcoming, memorable bar experience. You’ll work closely with the restaurant and banquet teams to support events and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent guest service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Follow all TABC and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
Operate the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Assist with restocking, inventory, and bar prep.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
Support special events and banquets as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience preferred; hotel or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
Must have a current TABC certification.
Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
The compensation for this position is $10.25/Hr. - $10.25/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
