Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation seeks a skilled Bartender/Mixologist to craft a wide range of beverages and provide memorable guest experiences in Medora, ND. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and efficient bar operations management.

Responsibilities include drink preparation, engaging guests, maintaining bar cleanliness, inventory oversight, and POS transactions. Fluency in English is required; experience with mixology and bar equipment is preferred.

Basic math skills for cash handling and POS.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer specs.
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner and make recommendations.
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization including glassware and equipment.
Oversee liquor inventory and bar supplies; conduct regular stock checks.
Record all sales using POS and handle cash/card transactions.
Upsell drinks and menu items to guests.
Comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol service regulations.
Refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons when needed.
Assist with opening/closing procedures and restocking.
Ensure garnishes are prepared before opening.
Know the dining room menu to describe items and make recommendations.
