Locallygrownak is seeking a Bartender Manager at Spenard Roadhouse in Anchorage to lead the bar team and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will manage inventory, budgets, and staff performance while collaborating on new drinks and ongoing wine/beer selections.

The role requires a 21+, English fluency, and the ability to work late shifts in a fast-paced setting. This is a full-time position with tips in addition to hourly wages.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must communicate, write, and understand English.
• Must have a current Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
• Must have strong cash handling skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Must have a current TIPS/TAP card and a current Municipality of Anchorage food worker card.
• Must have basic knowledge of Google Drive and internet navigation.
• Must be available for late nights, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Bartender Manager - Spenard Roadhouse (Full-Time; $16 + tips )

Summary/Objective

The Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring that the bar staff perform their stated duties and work as a team with the rest of the FOH and BOH staff. The Bar Manager is also responsible for keeping up the morale and positivity of the bar team. They are to ensure guest satisfaction and delight by providing an exceptional experience that makes the guest want to return.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This may be a full time. Employees may be asked to work, standing and walking, in a fast paced environment for up to 9 hours in a shift.

Physical Requirements

The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time and may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequently lifts up to 40 pounds. The employee must be able to occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
