Fat Tuesday in Philadelphia is seeking a Bartender II who leads the bar team during assigned shifts to deliver exceptional beverage quality, guest service, and smooth operational execution.

The Bartender II is responsible for leading the team during assigned shifts
to deliver exceptional beverage quality, guest service, and operational execution.
This role supports management by coaching and developing team members, ensuring
compliance with company policies and procedures, controlling costs, and
maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Senior Lead Bartenders lead by
example, communicate expectations clearly, and help create a positive, high-energy
experience for both guests and team members.
Train, coach, and develop crew members and team leaders
Delegate tasks effectively and provide follow-up to ensure completion
Ensure team members are accountable for performance, providing coaching as needed
Communicate goals clearly through location communication boards and team chats
Recognize and reinforce positive performance and contributions
Educate team members and enforce labor laws, safety, and security procedures
Ensure fast, friendly, accurate, and engaging hospitality at all times
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
Support continuous improvement in Floater Dollars and Sales Targets
Measure guest satisfaction and assist in executing plans to improve loyalty and repeat
visits
Ensure consistent execution of product quality standards
Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards
Assist in driving sales growth and achieving budgeted sales goals
Support initiatives to increase comparable sales
Assist in controlling cost of goods, inventory accuracy, and variances
Support the MUM (Multi-Unit Manager) with ordering and inventory as needed
Ensure sufficient product availability to support successful operations
Support proper cash handling and deposit procedures
Assist with staffing and scheduling to control labor costs
Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are followed
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and late-night hours
Excellent communication skills with guests and team members
Strong leadership presence with a positive, professional attitude
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environment
Strong time-management and multitasking skills
Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through on tasks

Proven commitment to exceptional hospitality
Must be at least 18 years of age (or 21+ where required by local alcohol laws)
Minimum of 1-3 years of hospitality experience
Prior bartending or shift leadership experience preferred
Ability to regularly work a minimum of 30 hours per week
Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
