Job summary

ilani is looking for a bartender to provide world class guest service, take drink orders, serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and handle payments. You will operate a POS terminal, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain bar setup and safety standards on shift at our Ridgefield, WA venue.

• Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
• Sets up and breaks down assigned bar in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the handling all payment methods.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in assigned work area.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED;
• Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
