Left Lane Hospitality Group, LLC is launching Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah. We are seeking skilled Bartenders to join Le Flâneur, our signature French brasserie, delivering thoughtful service, beverage expertise, and memorable guest interactions.

The role emphasizes cocktails, wine, and hospitality excellence in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic, one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel project.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in upscale dining or hotel settings preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and dining room.
• Develop knowledge of the beverage program, wine list, and daily features.
• Guide guests through beverage selections and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and accurately enter orders in POS.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.

About the role

Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club, is seeking skilled, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our team. Inspired by the timeless charm of a French brasserie, Le Flâneur offers a vibrant dining experience rooted in genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful guest connections.

As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences through thoughtful service, expert beverage preparation, and genuine guest engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about cocktails, wine, and hospitality, with the ability to balance efficiency and precision in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm and welcoming presence.

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room as needed
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Le Flâneur's beverage program, wine list, food menu, and daily features
• Guide guests through beverage selections and make recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale system
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service practices
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other bar ingredients according to established standards
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Collaborate with servers, server assistants, culinary team members, and leadership to ensure seamless service
• Manage inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to a welcoming and engaging atmosphere

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; upscale dining, cocktail bar, or hotel experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move bar supplies as needed
• Professional presentation and grooming standards
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and operational excellence
