Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service in a polished, guest-friendly environment. You will prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring brand standards and local regulations are met.

The role requires warm, attentive service, strong product knowledge, and the ability to multitask during lunch and dinner shifts. Previous hotel/restaurant bartending experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment during lunch and dinner service periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet local age requirements for alcohol service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests at the bar and in the lounge area.
• Engage guests with knowledgeable recommendations on beverages, food pairings, and Marriott brand offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalize service to create memorable experiences.
• Prepare cocktails, specialty drinks, and classic beverages according to Marriott recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain full understanding of wine, beer, and spirits; assist guests with selections.
• Serve lunch and dinner menu items, ensuring accurate order taking and timely delivery.
• Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with local laws and hotel policy.
• Set up and break down the bar daily, ensuring all tools, equipment, and products are properly stocked and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
• Follow all cash-handling procedures, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Maintain inventory levels, assist with ordering, and report shortages or product needs to management
• Adhere to Marriott brand standards, local/state alcohol regulations, and all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Uphold all policies regarding responsible alcohol service and guest safety.
• Report incidents or concerns immediately to management.

What You Will Be Doing

Schedule

This is not a Monday thru Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude!
