Job summary

North Italia in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking an upbeat bartender for a part-time role. You will welcome guests, showcase knowledge of beverages, and help guests enjoy handcrafted Italian dishes while building rapport with regulars. Prior bartending experience and accurate cash handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending experience is required.
• Must be of legal drinking age and able to serve alcohol.
• Comfortable with basic math, handling money, and operating a POS system.
• Excellent English communication skills and physical stamina (stand for long periods).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome/greet guests and know regulars by name, preference and needs.
• Be knowledgeable on wine, beer, liquor, and cocktail ingredients.
• Inform guests about specialty drinks and menu items.
• Maintain cash bank and follow established procedures.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Deliver drink orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
