We have openings for both full-time and part-time BARTENDER positions.

Location: Genesis House - 40 10th Avenue, New York, NY 10014

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve beverages in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to liquor laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up bars, stock all necessary supplies.
• Maintain quality of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks.
• Check IDs for guests.
• Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly.
• Handle cash and verify charges.
• Secure all beverage and cash items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
