Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks all necessary beverages and supplies.
• Maintains freshness and quality of garnishes and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Takes and processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, practices portion control.
• Checks IDs for guests.
• Detects guest inebriation and acts accordingly.
• Handles cash and verifies charges.
• Secures all beverages, food, equipment, and cash.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
