Job summary

Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar in Pittsburgh is seeking a bartender to deliver warm, friendly service while guiding guests through our menu and beverage options. You will handle drink preparation, upselling promos, and ensure accurate orders within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to write and read the English language.
• Good communication skills, friendly, and people-oriented.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Completes and passes the RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and friendly service from greeting to the end of the guest experience.
• Explain menu items, promotions, Happy Hour, events, and answer questions.
• Ensure drinks are prepared according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
• Ring up orders and time delivery to guests' requests.
• Follow up after delivery with the service assistant to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean bar, restock, and monitor drink levels.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures to identify age and prevent intoxication.
• Collect payment for drinks and/or food according to procedures.
• Keep bar area clean, neat, and well stocked.
• Balance bar inventories with POS totals and reconcile discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies throughout the shift.
• Complete opening, shift change, closing checklists, and cleaning tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed per coach request.
