Job summary

Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking bartenders to deliver welcoming, high-energy service while guiding guests through beverage selections and menu options. You will maintain bar cleanliness, follow recipes, and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, timely order delivery, safety and sanitation adherence, and proactive guest engagement. This role requires strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to stand for

Qualifications

• Good command of English reading and writing.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Possesses basic math skills for handling payments.
• Completes and passes RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides warm, friendly service to each guest from greeting to farewell.
• Knows the menu and explains choices, promotions, and specials to guests.
• Ensures drinks are prepared according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
• Rings up orders and times delivery to meet guest requests.
• Handles post-delivery follow-up to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Maintains clean bar area, checks drink levels, and keeps inventory balanced.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures and identifies ages when needed.
• Collects payments for drinks/food per established procedures.
• Operates POS, makes change, and balances at end of shift.
• Assists with opening, shift changes, and closing checklists.
• Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.
