Job summary

Primanti Bros. in the United States is seeking a bartender to provide warm, friendly service and guide guests through menu and promotions. You will ensure drinks are prepared to recipes, ring up orders, and maintain bar cleanliness with accurate cash handling.

The role requires strong English communication, multitasking, and basic math; RAMP or TIPS certification may be required by state regulations. This is a full-time/part-time position with a lively, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to write and read the English language.
• Good communication skills, friendly, and people-oriented.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Completes and passes the RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides warm and friendly service to each Fan from the initial greeting to the end of their Primanti Bros. experience.
• Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu and able to explain choices to the Fan, informs them of current promotions, Happy Hour specials, Events, and answers questions.
• Ensures that all drinks are prepared according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
• Rings up food and times the delivery of the order to the Fans request.
• Follows up after delivery by the Service Assistant, ensuring order accuracy.
• Maintains bar top cleanliness, reduces clutter, checks drink levels.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age and preventing intoxication.
• Collects payment for drinks/food following established procedures; balances POS.
• Keeps bar area clean, neat, and well stocked.
• Ensures inventory matches POS totals and balances.
