Job summary

Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar in Homestead, PA is seeking a friendly Bartender to turn guests into loyal Fans through warm, knowledgeable service and engaging menu guidance.

You will explain drinks and promotions, balance the bar, handle payments, keep the area clean, follow safety rules, and support the team during busy periods while offering flexible scheduling. Experience with POS systems and basic math is helpful; RAMP or TIPS certification may be required by state.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and friendly service from greeting to the end of the Primanti Bros. experience.
• Explain menu choices and inform customers of promotions, Happy Hour, and events.
• Ensure drinks are prepared according to Primanti Bros. recipes and handle orders.
• Ring up orders and coordinate delivery timing as requested by guests.
• Follow up after delivery to ensure accuracy with the Service Assistant and guests.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, stock levels, and balanced POS totals.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for age verification and responsible service.
• Collect payments according to established procedures and close out at shift end.
• Complete opening, shift-change, and closing checklists and perform cleaning tasks as needed.
