Job summary

AHC Hospitality is seeking a part-time Bartender for AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown. The role covers counter, bar and table service, guest engagement, and maintaining bar setup and cleanliness. You will promote knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer and support nightly operations.

Ideal candidates have bartending experience, a solid understanding of safety and sanitation, strong communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Marriott QA standards guide daily guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred and knowledge of safety and sanitation.
• Excellent communication skills required and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to take direction and stay organized.
• Knowledge of local trends and events relevant to bar service.

Responsibilities

• Restaurant service includes counter service, bar service, table service and deliveries.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and daily setup/breakdown.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction and provide top‑notch service.
• Follow Marriott QA Steps of Service and hotel policies.
