Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Bartender in a fast-paced setting in the Denver area to greet customers, take orders, and craft cocktails, beer, and other beverages. You will handle payments, manage ticket times, and communicate any issues to the manager on duty, ensuring top-quality service to guests and teammates.

This non-exempt role reports to the store or general manager, offers a competitive hourly rate with tips, and provides benefits such as health coverage, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and their preparation/presentation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take drink/food orders; upsell where possible.
• Follow recipes and directions for mixing beverages.
• Collect payments and operate cash registers per policies; secure monies.
• Follow HMSHost policies for alcohol service, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and high standard of customer service.
