Job summary

HHM Hotels seeks a bartender to serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include bar maintenance, garnishing, ID checks, and processing orders and payments.

The role emphasizes attention to guest experience, safety, and sustainability practices, with shifts that may include holidays and weekends. Training and advancement are available within the beverage leadership path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certified a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take and serve orders for food and beverages at tables in bar/lounge areas.
• Issue guest checks and process payments.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Assist with beverage inventory and par levels.
• Complete required side work before shift end.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality.
• Follow HHM EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS/OSHA standards.
