Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in East Peoria, IL is seeking Bartenders to deliver great drinks, great food, and good vibes behind the bar in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

As a front-of-house team member, you’ll serve beverages, take orders, upsell menu items, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar while ensuring guests meet age requirements. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and growth opportunities with the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Certification to serve alcohol as dictated by the State and BWW policy.
• Prior bartending experience is a plus, but training is provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take food and drink orders from Guests at the bar.
• Engage with Guests and create a fun, social experience.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.
• Check identification to ensure Guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol.
• Replace kegs and restock bottles.
• Monitor inventory and costs per standards.
• Process guest payments per procedures.
• Take orders from Guests or serving staff.

What You’ll Do

As a Bartender, you’ll create a lively, welcoming atmosphere while delivering top-notch service behind the bar.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take food and drink orders from Guests at the bar
• Engage with Guests and create a fun, social experience
• Recommend drinks, menu items, and promotions
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area
• Check identification to ensure Guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages and comply with RAS procedures as defined by federal and state laws
• Replace kegs and restock bottles of alcohol when necessary
• Monitor and manage bar inventory and cost control measures including tracking waste per company drink specs and Standard Operating Procedures
• Collect and accurately process guest payments per Company Standard Procedures
• Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customer excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions
• Take food and beverage orders from serving staff or directly from Guests

Education/Experience

Required

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Certification to serve alcohol as dictated by the State and BWW policy

Preferred

• Prior bartending experience
• Minimum of two years of related experience or Buffalo Wild Wings experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Able to lift and carry items (up to 25–40 lbs)
• Comfortable moving quickly in a busy environment
