Pacific Catch, Inc. in Sunnyvale is seeking a part-time bartender to join our team. This hourly, non-exempt role requires weekend availability (Thu–Sun 4pm to close) and candidates must be at least 21 years old.

You will craft cocktails, recommend beverages, handle orders in POS, upsell, maintain bar cleanliness and inventory, and support restaurant service as needed. Compensation starts at $19.50 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers.
• Ensure a good guest experience—present drink menu, make recommendations, answer questions; take orders; serve food and drinks; check in with guests.
• Record drink or food orders accurately in POS; process payment and make change as needed.
• Fill in as a server as directed to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing.
• Ensure bar area cleanliness (counters, tables, equipment, floors) at all times.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive, functional manner to support drink prep and beverage promotion; wash glassware as needed.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must. Ideal candidates will be available Thursday - Sunday 4pm to close availability

COMPENSATION

$19.50 Per Hour

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
• Ensure a good Guest experience--present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages; take orders; promptly serve food and drink, and check in with Guests regarding their experience; up-sell whenever possible
• Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS; Accept and process Guest payment and make the correct change as applicable.
• Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant
• Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing
• Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) always
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Wash and sterilize glassware as needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
• Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred

PHYSICAL

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
