Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, welcomes you to join as a bar service specialist at our California location. You will exceed guest expectations with friendly, prompt, attentive service and craft drinks to standard while upselling menu items.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers training, growth opportunities, and a hospitable culture. You’ll work in a fast-paced setting, adhering to safety, sanitation, and California beverage laws;

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
• Move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• California SB-certified beverage service required (can be completed during training, within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations at the bar by providing friendly, prompt, attentive service.
• Craft drinks to perfection with proper safety, tools and recipe standards, while serving customers responsibly.
• Must have extensive knowledge of food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell.
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as needed.
• Provide expertise and support to Servers on beverage selections and offerings.
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
