Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group Career Center in Laguna Hills, CA is hiring for an hourly, non-exempt bar role at Outback Steakhouse. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour plus tips. You will craft drinks, upsell, and provide exceptional guest service while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
California beverage service certifications required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
Able to work in hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

Responsible for exceeding the customer expectations at the bar by providing them with friendly, prompt, and attentive service, that is guided by each guest’s preference and cues.
Will efficiently craft every drink to perfection with proper safety, tools and recipe standards, while serving customers responsibly.
Must have an extensive knowledge of our food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell.
Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
Provides expertise and support to Servers on beverage selections and offerings.
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
